Who Am I?

I am a freelance writer and mom of three living in the suburbs of New York State.  I write about a lot of different topics, but I love to write about the issues of parenting, health, and life in today’s world the most.   I write for my local newspapers, contribute regularly at TheSmartly and Mamapedia along with many other places in the giant online world.  Here on this blog I write a lot of opinion and encourage other’s opinions.

I am a huge believer in teaching our children to survive in the world.  I feel strongly that a parent’s job is to guide kids through life and show them the way, rather than molding the world and life around them.
